Royal Canin selects ingredients according to their nutritional profile; ingredients are the “vectors of nutrients”. Like a complex puzzle, a nutritional diet is the precise combination of the nutrients which are vital to the animal’s health.
High added value nutrition.
In addition to its defined nutrient content, the added value of a Health Nutrition diet resides in its palatability and digestive safety. Before being brought to market, a series ofmeasurements, within our kennel and cattery,allows us to assess the dog or cat’s behaviour towards the food (palatability). We also constantly assess the dogs’ and cats’ digestive tolerance by collecting and analysing the urine and faeces.
